You can access a customer’s complete sales-order history from their customer record. The order dashboard displays current laybys and previous sales and provides filters for locating a particular transaction.
Accessing the Customer’s Order History
From within the customer record, select Orders.
Retail Express opens the customer’s order-history dashboard.
Viewing Open Laybys and Sales History
The left side of the dashboard displays the customer’s open laybys.
The right side displays a high-level summary of the customer’s sales history.
Searching for a Previous Transaction
Open the Order History Search tab to locate a specific previous sales transaction.
Using Order History Filters
Use the filters across the top of the page to refine the customer’s previous sales.
You can search using information such as:
- A previous invoice number
- The date range in which the purchase was made
- A product the customer purchased
These filters help identify and locate the required transaction.
