You can identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory by accessing the Aged Stock Report, which shows how long products have been in stock without selling. This report helps retail operators make clearance decisions, identify markdown candidates, and optimize inventory mix by replacing slow sellers with faster-moving products, improving inventory turnover and cash flow.
Using the Aged Stock Report regularly helps retail operators reduce inventory carrying costs, identify products requiring promotional support or markdown pricing, and maintain fresh, desirable product assortments that drive sales velocity.
The Aged Stock Report is designed to provide a Company level view of stock holdings and the current financial liability being incurred by the business.
The Aged Stock Report is global, meaning it reports on a sum total for all Outlets. To view details on stock for individual Outlets we recommend using the Stock Value vs Sales Report.
