We're extremely excited to announce our brand new interactive Product Portal! Now you can have greater visibility than ever over all the features we've just released and what we're currently working on. You can even vote for new features, submit feedback and new ideas, and more!

What's new
Greater visibility
The Product Portal gives you more visibility into our Roadmap, and the different initiatives.
At the top of the page, you'll find 4 tabs you can cycle through to view a variety of different features in different stages.

Released |
Possibly the most exciting stage, this is where a feature has been released ready to be used! Click the card to read about the feature, and follow the links to the Knowledge Base to view detailed instructions on how to use the new feature.

In Development | Once an initiative has progressed and we've started active development, you'll find more detailed information and updates as we go along. |
Shortlisted |
Our Product Team uses different methods to prioritise which ideas we'd like to progress, and we'd love to know what's important for you. Once an initiative has been shortlisted we may reach out to customers who voted for the feature with surveys or updates. Any information you provide helps us to build better products for you.

Idea | This is where all new features start - as an idea. When you submit a new idea it goes to our product team to review, so you won't see these immediately listed on our Portal. We receive a lot of excellent ideas regularly, and we're always keen to hear more! |
Vote and Subscribe to features
For the first time ever you can vote on features and let us know how important they are to you! When you click on a feature to view the details, you'll see three buttons at the bottom:

Nice-to-have: the feature would be cool, convenient or useful
-
Important: the feature would solve a major need for you, and would be highly beneficial
-
Critical: a must-have feature that's critical to your business
Once you vote you'll be asked to provide a bit of context on why you need the feature and how it would help you. We'll also ask for your email address - we'll only contact you to keep you updated on that feature - we promise not to spam you!
We're extremely excited about the voting feature as it gives us direct feedback on what's important to you, and we factor this in when making decisions on our future development priorities.

What's changed
Submit a new idea
Previously, if you had a great suggestion there was a detailed form to complete. Now, it's much faster and easier to submit an idea directly from the Product Portal!

To submit a new idea, just let us know what you're trying to achieve and how we can help. Tell us how important it is and be sure to enter your email - that way we can contact you if we have more questions and keep you updated on the progress.
Accessing the Product Portal
You can access the Product Portal directly from Back Office, as well as the Knowledge Base.
- Log into Retail Express Back Office
- Navigate to Help & Support > Product Portal
You can also access the Product Portal by clicking the "Product Roadmap" link at the top of the Knowledge Base.
