To remove a customer from the sale (setting it back to a Cash Sale):

Click on the Customers tab
- Click Remove Customer From Sale
- Click OK
- The customer will be removed and the sale will return to a Cash Sale state (note that no laybys or account customer purchases can be performed without a customer attached to the sale)
