If a customer order is overpaid Maropost Commerce will automatically create account credit to the value of the overpayment. Credit can also be added to a customer account manually, or as a result of a return (RMA). This credit can be paid out as a refund or it can be used by the customer to pay future orders.

A staff member with admin permissions will need to approve and complete the refund. Click the Mark as Paid and Complete button.
Tip: If you are not the admin user, have the admin user navigate to Sales Orders > Refunds to complete this part on your behalf.

The customer credit is now removed.
