Install the Marketplace Maximizer Add-on
To set up the Marketplace Maximizer sales channel:
- In your Neto control panel, navigate to the Addons page.
- In the Sales Channel section, find the Marketplace Maximizer add-on and click the Install button.
- In the pop-up that appears, click the Install button.
- Click Configure Marketplace Maximizer.
The Marketplace Maximizer application is built and maintained by CrescoData. You will be redirected to the Marketplace Maximizer app to accept Marketplace Maximizer’s terms and service costs and to configure your Marketplace Maximizer app.
Account Activation & Onboarding
If your billing falls under a Neto plan inclusion, anything outside of your plan will be billed accordingly. You will then be guided through the onboarding steps to finalise your setup.
Installing New Marketplaces
Now that you have installed Marketplace Maximizer, additional sales channels will be unlocked and can be installed to be added to your Marketplace Maximizer account.
To set up a new marketplace channel:
- In your Neto control panel, navigate to the Addons page.
- In the Sales Channel section, find the marketplace add-on you wish to add and click the Install button. Remember, any marketplace with "Built by Marketplace Maximizer" will be added to your central Marketplace Maximizer account.
- In the pop-up that appears, click the Install button.
- Click the configure button to connect the marketplace.
Approve Products to sync to Marketplace Maximizer
To list and sync products between Neto and Marketplace Maximizer, you need to mark them as Approved in your Neto control panel. This will allow Neto to update the price and stock levels on Marketplace Maximizer, keeping them in sync with your other marketplaces.
Note: product approval needs to happen for every marketplace you have connected to Marketplace Maximizer, not just the main Marketplace Maximizer add-on.
Products in Neto can be approved in three ways:
Individually Approve Products
- In your Neto control panel, navigate to the Products > Active page.
Click on the SKU you want to list and update on Marketplace Maximizer.
- Select the Approved for <Marketplace Name> checkbox.
- Click the Save button.
Repeat the process for each product to approve. The products will now be synced to Marketplace Maximizer and available to list on any connected marketplace(s).
Approve Products in Bulk
In your Neto control panel navigate to Products > Active.
Select the products to approve within Marketplace Maximizer by selecting the checkboxes next to each product you want to approve.
- Click the With x Selected button (beneath the product list) and select Approve for <Marketplace Name> from the pop up menu.
In the confirmation pop-up, click the OK button.
- Repeat the process for each group of products to approve.
Approve Products via Import
- In your Neto control panel, navigate to Settings & tools > Import data.
Click the Perform complex import button and select Start Data Import Wizard from the menu.
On the Upload File page, click the Browse button and locate the file to upload.
Click the Continue to Next Step button.
- Select SKU* in the Database Field Name field.
Tip: Remove any other fields to ensure other data isn't overwritten and to speed up the import process. Click the Add Extra Field button.
- Select "Approved For Marketplace Maximizer" from the Database Field Name.
- Change the Column name dropdown to Static Value. A blank field will display beneath.
- Enter Y in the blank field.
- You can repeat Steps 6 - 9 to approve products for multiple Marketplace Maximizer connected channels. Simply select a different channel each time until you have covered all channels.
- Click the Continue to Next Step button.
- Select Update Existing Products Only from the How Do You Want To update Your Database drop down box.
- Click the Continue to Next Step button.
- Click the Process File Now button.
Neto will start updating all the product SKUs imported as Approved For <Marketplace Name>. Allow up to 10 minutes to complete the import process, depending on the number of products you’ve imported.
You have successfully approved products to list and update on Marketplace Maximizer. Neto will now be able to update the prices and stock levels of your products on Marketplace Maximizer. This process occurs approximately every 15 minutes.
Process Marketplace Maximizer Sales Orders
Marketplace Maximizer sales orders downloaded to Neto are processed the same as other sales orders. You can find more info on how to pick, pack, and dispatch sales orders here.
The order source and original order number are added to the System Internal Notes.
End a Marketplace Maximizer Product Sync
Products synced to Marketplace Maximizer can be removed by unapproving them in Neto. Similar to product approval, the sync can be ended in the same three ways. Depending on your chosen method, perform either of the following:
- To end an individual product, navigate to Products > Active. Click the product SKU to go to the product page and then deselect the Approved for <Marketplace Name> checkbox. (see individual product approval)
- To end the product sync in bulk, navigate to Products > Active. Select the products, and then from the With x Selected drop-down list (at the bottom of the product list), select Unapprove for <Marketplace Name>. (see bulk product approval steps)
- To end the product sync via import, perform the import with the Approved For <Marketplace Name> column set to "N". (see import steps)
Uninstall the Marketplace Maximizer Integration
Important: Ensure you have uninstalled all connected Marketplace Maximizer channels before uninstalling the main Marketplace Maximizer add-on. Related channels will not be uninstalled automatically.
To remove the Marketplace Maximizer integration:
- In your Neto control panel, navigate to the Addons menu.
- In the Sales Channels section, find the Marketplace Maximizer add-on and click the Uninstall button.
- Confirm that you want to uninstall the integration.
Marketplace Maximizer is now uninstalled from your Neto control panel.
