General features
Throughout Glew eCommerce Analytics you’re able to filter the metric, chart or table using the three dot button in the top right hand corner.
Here you can change the date ranges, apply filters for specific advertising campaigns or sales channels, add the metric you’ve selected to a report, or even create a brand new report with the filters you’ve applied.
You’ll also see information icons to help you understand what information is being displayed, and how it is calculated.
Many metrics will display the Group By button, allowing you to change how the data is represented. For example, when viewing a years worth of revenue, you can group it by month (rather than day) to get a clearer view of trends and changes.
Lastly, you’ll find additional filters, columns, and export options in the Orders, Customers and Products sections. Use these to drill down to the specific data you need, and export it for use in a CRM, email marketing campaign, or other third party application.
Highlights
Highlights represents a real-time view of your store so you can quickly understand how key metrics are performing Today, This Week, This Month and This Year. Glew eCommerce Analytics also provides historical comparisons for each time period so you can benchmark your recent performance versus historical performance.
By default, the highlights page displays Revenue, Gross Profit, Orders, Products Sold, Average Order Value, Refunded, Visits and Conversion Rate. The date range, and data can be filtered using the three dot button in each window.
Performance
The Performance tab combines data from your Maropost Commerce account with data from major advertising channels to provide insights into the effectiveness of sales channels and marketing campaigns. Previously, reaching this data meant cross-checking multiple dashboards and tediously combining data into Excel spreadsheets.
When evaluating data, you never want to compare apples to oranges. Monday trends are different than Sunday trends. December sales are higher than October sales. To help you understand benchmarks of performance, each metric in the Highlights page has a percentage up or down from each time frame.
Orders
The Orders page is where you can keep a close eye on incoming revenue, products discounted, coupons and refunds that have been issued. Use this data to create accurate real time reports and track down issues with returns and gauge the effectiveness of discounts and promotions.
Analyse your most profitable sales channels and how your customers are browsing them to get the maximum return on your advertising budget. Gauge the effectiveness of new sales channels by generating reports that can be automatically delivered to your inbox.
Customers
With the Customer Profile and List pages you can enhance your service level by equipping your team with important information such as a customer’s order history, channel of attribution, and abandoned cart info. See how long they have been shopping with you, their Average Order Value, and whether you’re at risk of losing this customer. Use this information to tailor communication that your customers will perceive as professional, informed and courteous. In turn, they’ll deem you worthy of their continued business.
Personalised, targeted email can generate massive increases in revenue over generic blast email campaigns. Our Customer Segmentation feature helps you realise that increase in revenue in countless ways.
Customer Segmentation includes over 20 unique segments that can be exported and uploaded into your preferred email management platform. For each segment, see insights including Lifetime Value, Revenue, Average Order Value and the Most Commonly Purchased Products.
Products
The Products Dashboard displays key performance indicators for each product. It includes a breakdown of Sales Margin, Views, Orders, Conversion, Quantity Sold, Quantity Left, Revenue, Cost of Goods Sold, Gross Profit and Refunded.
A great way to use this data would be to sort your Refunded Products and look for products with a high Refund Rate. Then, evaluate what could be the issue. Does the product have a misleading description? Are there issues with sizing? Does the quality of the product not meet high standards? Fixing these issues would put money directly back into your pocket.
At any point in the Product section, if you click on the image or name of a product, you’ll go to an individual product page. On this page, all of the data will be shown as it relates ONLY to this individual product.
Reports
Save time compiling, cleansing, and visualising your data, as Glew eCommerce Analytics transforms silos of eCommerce data into beautiful reports that help you grow your business. Reports can be quickly and easily generated from any of the metrics in Highlights, Performance, Customers or Products, filtered to suit your individual business needs.
Smart scheduling lets you have this data at your fingertips so you can make informed business decisions wherever you are.
Store Settings
