Not all products can be shipped in a single carton, with a single set of dimensions. Flat pack furniture sets are a common example. A table and several chairs will each have a separate carton for ease of transport and warehousing.
Products that are shipped in 2 or more boxes can have their individual carton sizes defined on the product page. This gives your customers a more accurate shipping cost, and simplifies the consignment and dispatch process.
To add the carton breakdown:
In your Neto by Maropost control panel, navigate to Settings & tools > All settings & tools.
Select Advanced configuration.
Search in the name field for SHIPCOST_CAL_CARTONS.
Click on it in the results, change the value to Yes, and click the Save Changes button.
This setting ensures the carton breakdown is used when calculating shipping costs.
Open the product that needs the carton breakdown defined.
Scroll down to the shipping section, and click the Carton breakdown button.
Click the Add Carton button, and enter the carton dimensions and quantity.
Repeat this step until all of the product cartons have been entered.
Click the Save button.
