If you are planning on migrating your existing accounting integration with Maropost Commerce onto a new platform, this document provides a quick guide and tips on what to consider as you make the switch. This document is only relevant to Maropost Commerce sites running or intending to run the following accounting integrations:
Switching from MYOB Live to Xero
To ensure a smooth transition of your accounting platform to Xero, we highly recommend engaging your accountant/bookkeeper for professional advice on how to conduct and manage this transition. Here are some tips and things to consider:
-
Make sure all pending purchase orders are finalised in MYOB.
-
Move chart of accounts and account receivables (balances) to Xero
-
Complete final stocktake before the switch and import stock on hand to Maropost Commerce
-
Make a note of the date MYOB is disconnected as the Xero Integration Start Date must be set to this date to accommodate orders pending export to your accounting application

If you are switching to Maropost Commerce Cloud Inventory from MYOB and require a direct accounting integration with Maropost Commerce, you will need to use Maropost Commerce’s integration with Xero as this is the only accounting platform currently supported with Maropost Commerce Inventory.
