Google Tag Manager is a great way to manage and control all google scripts in one location.

this article instead.
Important note: Adding too many scripts through Google Tag Manager can significantly slow your website.
-
Before you get started, sign up for your free tag manager account.
-
Within the Setup Account page, add your account name (eg. your company name).
-
Setup your container (ie. your website address) and select Web as the use and click Create.

-
Agree to the terms and conditions, and you’ll be given two scripts to embed into your website. Keep this page open so you can copy and paste the code in step 7.
-
In your Maropost Commerce control panel navigate to Setup & Tools > All Settings & Tools.
-
Click on Custom Scripts and then Add New.
-
Name the script Google Tag Manager. Paste the first code into the Page Header, and the second into the Page Footer tab, then Save.
Please Note: Changes to a custom script require you to authenticate your access. Click the Send Token Now button and an email will be sent to you with a security token. Copy the token and paste it into the verification field. Click the Verify Token button and your changes can be saved. The token will last two hours in case you need to change multiple scripts.
