Set up Advanced Customer Fields
To install and set up the advanced customer fields add-on:

In your Maropost Commerce control panel click the Addons menu.

In the customer management section find the Advanced Customer Fields add-on, and click the Install button.
Once activated, the following fields will appear in the User Details section of the customer card in the control panel: Classification 1, Classification 2, Permission, Identification Type and Identification Value.

- Classification 1 - You can add classification options by going to Settings & Tools > All settings & tools > Click on Customers tab > Click Customer Classification 1.
- Classification 2 - You can add classification options by going to Settings & Tools > All settings & tools > Click on Customers tab > Click Customer Classification 2.
- Permission - The customer's permission type. Quote, admin, POS or Store. These permissions can be used to show or hide content on your website front end. This may require customising your website front end templates (dependent on the theme you are using).
- Identification Type - The type of document that is used as identification for this customer.
- Identification Value - A value assigned to this document that can uniquely identify the customer.
In the Other section the Parent User and Quote Approval User fields will be added:

- Parent User - The customers parent customer username. Used for reporting purposes only.
- Quote Approval User - The customers quote approver username. Requires quote approver website module.
