You can add commonly used control panel pages (or even pages from the front end of your site) to a custom section in the left-hand menu of your control panel.
Add a Custom Link
To add a custom link in your control panel:
- In your Neto control panel, navigate to Settings & Tools » All Settings & Tools.
- Click on Custom Control Panel Links in the Control Panel section.
- Click on the Add New Menu Item button.
- A new gray bar will appear. Click on Menu Item Settings (cog icon) in the bar to edit the menu item.
- Enter the name of the new menu option under Item Name. This will be the name that appears in the menu.
- Under Select URL for menu item, choose one of the following:
Link to a URL - to enter a web address for an external website. Paste the web address in the field below. This can be a web address of a page in your control panel.
Link to an existing product - link to product page. Enter the product's SKU in the field below. Click on Accept to save the new menu link.
Link to an existing stockist - links to a stockist or store location. Select a store from the drop-down list below.
Blog Post, Brand, Buying Guide, Form, Information Page, or Product Category - links to a page with that content type. Select a page from the drop-down menu below.
- Click on Accept to save the new menu link. Refresh your control panel to see the new custom links menu you have just created.
Edit the Menu Layout
To change the order of the menus, remove menus, and create submenus:
- Click and drag the menu option up or down to adjust its position. Release the mouse button when it's in the correct position. To create a sub-menu option, drag the option to the right so it is indented.
- To add a sub-menu option, click on the + icon. To remove a menu option, click on the x icon.
- Click on the Save button. Refresh your control panel to see the changes to the custom links menu you have performed.
