Go Live With eBay

To get the best out of the Maropost Commerce eBay integration, you will want your Maropost Commerce account to be listing, revising and managing the sales orders for your eBay account.

To ensure that you have everything setup from start to finish, we recommend going through our Launch Guides to configure the integration.

Setup Checklist

Here’s a quick checklist of each component you will need to configure, and successfully trade through Maropost Commerce:

Products set up in Maropost Commerce and linked to any existing listings.
Listing Rules templates configured (including any Variation Templates).
Category mapping (Categories are very important to listing rankings).
Shipping options set up within Maropost Commerce, so that orders can be processed.
Payment methods set up in Maropost Commerce, for reconciliation with your accounting.
Payment and shipping mapping configured, for smooth order processing.
Configure tracking numbers, so that when an order is dispatched the customer can track it through eBay.
(Optional) Set up Business Policies in your eBay account and enable them in Maropost Commerce.
(Optional) eBay listing design setup in Maropost Commerce.

List & Revise

Once the above is complete, you will need to list your products or revise your active listings. Maropost Commerce will always revise over the top of what you have in eBay, so if you are using listing rules templates in Maropost Commerce on your active listings, always remember to make updates to products from within Maropost Commerce to push them to your eBay listings.

Turn on Order Management

The final steps is to turn on order management from the eBay Settings page in Maropost Commerce. This can be done by navigating to eBay > Setup & Tools > Settings and clearing the Enable Manual eBay Order Management checkbox, then click Save Changes.

This will start the processes to import orders from eBay. You will then be able to follow the Pick, Pack and Dispatch order processing method to complete your eBay Orders, which will update their status in eBay.
