You can set up push notifications and in-app messaging to reach your customers directly on their mobile devices, where engagement rates are typically higher than email. Mobile push notifications can substantially improve engagement with open rates often exceeding traditional email campaigns, while in-app messages help guide users through your app experience.
This mobile communication approach enables you to deliver timely, relevant messages that drive immediate action and help maintain stronger customer relationships through the most personal communication channel.
Mobile has slowly become the best and most efficient form to communicate your message to customers. Now, it's easier than ever before to send push notifications and in-app messages to your mobile app users and increase engagement. You’ll need to download and install Maropost’s Mobile SDK in order to allow your mobile app to communicate with Marketing Cloud.
How to Add a Mobile Application
In Navigation, go to CAMPAIGNS, and select Push Campaigns.

- On the Push Campaigns index page, click the New Push Application button.
- On the New Push Application page, enter the name of the app, select a logo (optional), and select the environment status (Sandbox or Production). Then, click Save.

Once you’ve created your mobile app in Maropost for Marketing, you will now need to download and install the Maropost Mobile SDK for iOS and Android.
Note: If you are unable to access the Mobile module, please notify your Customer Success Manager, who will activate it for your account.
