You can leverage Marketing Cloud's comprehensive reporting features to gain actionable insights from your email campaigns and make data-driven decisions that improve marketing effectiveness. These analytics tools help identify which campaigns drive the highest engagement, track customer behavior patterns, and measure the ROI of your email marketing efforts across different audience segments.
When properly utilized, these reporting capabilities enable you to optimize campaign performance by understanding what resonates with your subscribers, leading to better engagement rates and more successful email marketing outcomes.
Maropost Cloud's advanced reporting features can be used to generate a variety of reports to track performance and get analytical data.
These reports can give you valuable insight into how your campaigns are performing, the results of your A/B split tests, and how contacts are engaging with your sent campaigns, as well as other important information.
In the Navigation, go to ANALYTICS, and select the desired report.
Campaign Reports
The campaign reports help you track the performance of your email campaigns. Each report generated for an email campaign contains the following tabs:
- Dashboard: Provides insights on how the email campaign is performing. You can see the delivery statistics (such as delivery rate and bounce rate), user engagement (such as opens and clicks), revenue, and other important metrics.
- Overlay: Provides a click-map view of the email content, displaying the links along with the total clicks and the percentage of the total clicks for each link.
- ISP: Provides insight into the performance of the email campaign based on the recipients' Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
- Details: Provides details of the email campaign.
For more information, see Email Campaign Reports.
Recurring Campaign Reports
The recurring campaign reports help you track the performance of your recurring campaigns. You can click the eye icon against each recurring campaign report and see the individual occurrence when the recurring campaign has been sent.
Custom Reports
The Custom Reports are summary reports that you can generate based on your choices. You can filter the data to include in the custom report if you want to focus on a narrower audience than the original target audience. You can also set the option to have the report sent to any number of email addresses and also to have the report generated on a recurring basis.
For more information, see Custom Reports: Overview.
Currently, the following custom reports are supported:
eRFM Reports
The eRFM Report in Maropost Marketing Cloud combines traditional RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) analysis with customer engagement insights to give you a comprehensive, real-time view of how your audience interacts with your brand across both purchase behavior and engagement activities.
This analytics feature includes visual dashboards—such as heatmaps, distribution charts, and movement flow diagrams—that help you segment customers into meaningful groups (e.g., Champions, Loyal, Recent, and Inactive), identify trends, and take targeted actions to improve retention, re-engagement, and revenue performance.
By integrating engagement data (like site visits, email opens, clicks, and abandoned carts) with RFM scoring, the eRFM Report enables smarter segmentation and more effective marketing decisions.
For more information, see Unlock Customer Insights with eRFM Analysis.
A/B Campaign Reports
The A|B campaign reports show the delivery and response data for each group of the A|B test, as well as those of the final campaign sent based on the 'winning' criteria.
For more information, see A/B Campaign Reports.
Test Campaign Reports
The Test Campaign Reports show the same information as the Campaign Reports. The main difference between them is that the test campaign cannot be sent to more than 20 contacts.
For more information, see Test Campaign Reports.
Website Reports
The Website Reports are displayed only if you are using Marketing Cloud's Web Tracking feature. These reports show you details on web pages that have been viewed and how many times they have been viewed. The report also includes drill-down reports showing which contacts have viewed which pages and how many times they have viewed them.
For more information, see Website Reports.
Journey Reports
The Journey Reports provide you with detailed information on how a particular journey is performing. On the index page, you can see all the journey reports along with their important statistics (such as sent, delivered, opens, clicks, bounces, total revenue, and last updated).
By clicking the eye icon against a journey report, you can see the email campaigns within the journey. You can further click the campaign names to see the corresponding campaign reports.
For more information, see Journey Reports.
Transactional Campaign Reports
The Transactional Campaign Reports help you track the performance of your transactional campaigns. Each report generated for a transactional campaign contains the following three tabs:
- Dashboard: Provides insights on how the transactional campaign is performing. You can see the delivery statistics (such as delivery rate, bounce rate), user engagement (such as opens and clicks), revenue, and other important metrics.
- ISP: Provides insight into the performance of the email campaign based on the recipients' Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
