Accessing the Contact List Overview Page
To access this page, you need to first visit the Contact Lists section under Audience from the Navigation panel. From the contact list index page, click on a contact name whose overview page you would like to see.

Breakdown of Contact List Overview Page
Contact List Card
The contact list card displays all the details (such as name, modification dates, list type, brand affiliations, etc.) linked with a contact list. You can edit and delete the list by clicking on the vertical ellipsis (â‹®).

While editing the list, you can select or clear the contact list fields and rearrange their order. Any changes made to the list arrangement are applied to all the contact lists.

By default, all contact lists are selected as Normal type, i.e., contacts in a list receive campaigns that are scheduled for them. However, if a group of contacts is found to be dormant or inactive with your brands, you can add them to a suppression list by selecting the Suppressed List type option. This ensures that no contact in that list receives future communications from Marketing Cloud.

đź“‹
Note: Contacts marked in a suppressed list will still receive those emails if their campaigns were scheduled beforehand. To learn more about such lists, read our
Suppression (Do Not Mail) Lists article.

If you wish to give contacts an option to subscribe/unsubscribe from a list that receives promotional messages, you can enable the Add to Unsubscribe Page toggle.

Customer Interaction Cards
The interaction cards provide an overall tally of contacts currently present in the list and display the overall earnings generated by them.
- Total Contacts: It shows the total number of contacts in a list.
- Total Subscribers: It displays the total number of contacts who are currently subscribed to your email and SMS campaigns.
- Total Unsubscribers: It displays the total number of contacts who have opted out from your email and SMS campaign subscription.
- Total Revenue: It reveals the total sale conversion generated by the list towards your business.

Additionally, we are offering seamless bulk operations in the form of Export and Import tabs. Such functionalities enhance automation and reduce mapping errors to a great extent. If you find any discrepancies in the count, you can refresh the list by clicking on the Refresh tab.

Timeline
The timeline gives a detailed account of each contact’s interaction with your email and SMS campaigns, listed in chronological order from newest to oldest.
Â
Before proceeding to look at engagement metrics at the email and SMS levels, you can use the Filters menu to see the overall activity based on your selection. Click on Apply to save the changes made.

The timeline is subdivided into two sections:
Â
Email: Important email metrics such as Sent, Scheduled, Soft and Hard Bounce rates are shown here. In addition, details such as Total Orders and Items Purchased are also displayed.

SMS: This section highlights key SMS stats, such as the number of campaigns sent and upcoming campaigns scheduled for contacts in the list. The campaign volume timeline ranges from 7 days to 90 days, and even a Year To Date range is available at your disposal.

Apart from general timelines, you can check the Historic Timeline section to view current email and SMS campaigns sent to contacts in the list. You can further analyze the sent campaign by clicking on the Details tab.

Automated FTP Imports
This option enables you to upload contacts to a list using our FTP server. To use this option, you must first set up the FTP imports on the Connections page. There is no file size limit for FTP upload. To learn more, see Using FTP Import.

Cart Integration
This section allows you to link contacts in the list with a product or any other entity of a 3rd-party e-commerce platform that is integrated into your Marketing Cloud account. If you haven't linked before, click on the edit icon or the add button. Under the integration slider, select the platform and save the changes made to it.
