Test Campaign Reports enable you to measure the performance of your email tests before launching full campaigns, helping ensure optimal results by identifying the most effective messaging, design, and timing. This helps optimize campaign effectiveness by allowing you to validate your email content with real performance data before sending to your entire audience.
When properly utilized, test campaign analytics typically perform better than launching without testing, providing measurable insights that can substantially improve engagement rates and reduce the risk of poor campaign performance.
The Test Campaign Reports provide information on how your test campaigns are performing. A test campaign report gets generated when you send a test email in the campaign builder flow.
The Test Campaign Reports index page lists the reports generated for all your test campaigns. To access its index page, go to Analytics from the Navigation panel and select Test Campaign Reports.

On the index page, for each test campaign, you can see the delivery metrics (such as sent, delivered, bounces) and customer engagement metrics (such as opens, clicks, total revenue). You can further click the test campaign name to navigate to the detailed campaign report, consisting of the following tabs:
- DASHBOARD: Provides insights on how the test campaign is performing. You can see the delivery statistics (such as delivery rate, bounce rate), user engagement ( such as opens, clicks), revenue, and other important metrics.
- OVERLAY: Provides a click-map view of the email content, displaying the links along with total clicks and percentage of the total clicks for each link.
- ISP: Provides insight on the performance of the test campaign based on Internet Service Providers (ISPs) of the recipients' email addresses.
- DETAILS: Provides details of the test campaign.
For more details on the report structure and report data, you can see Email Campaign Reports, which follows the same design structure and shows the same data metrics.
