You can simplify your campaign testing workflow and avoid accidental send-outs by using automatic subject line prefixes for test emails. This feature makes it easy to distinguish test messages from live campaigns in your inbox, reducing confusion during development and quality assurance. By clearly separating test and production emails, it supports more organized campaign management and minimizes the risk of errors.
Setting a default test prefix also improves team collaboration, as everyone can instantly recognize test emails while safeguarding your brand from unintended exposure to real subscribers.
With this setup, a predefined phrase is automatically added to the subject line of every test email. For example, if you choose “TEST ONLY!” as your prefix and send a test email with the subject “Monthly Revenue Report,” it will appear in your inbox as “TEST ONLY! Monthly Revenue Report,” making its purpose immediately clear.
