People are spending more time on their mobile devices than ever before, and with the increasing pace of modern life, mobile devices are helping people have access to anything and everything available on the internet in a few seconds.
Looking at this emerging trend, it is quite clear that mobile phones are extremely important to the future of marketing. So utilize Maropost’s advanced mobile features to gear up your mobile marketing strategies and reach a whole new audience.
Maropost for Marketing provides two offerings for mobile messaging: SMS (also known as Text Messaging) and Mobile App Messaging.
SMS
Maropost for Marketing’s SMS feature allows you to send marketing content to contacts who have opted in to receive these type of text messages.
NOTE: SMS is the only feature in Maropost for Marketing which comes at an additional cost to you. To learn more about these costs, send your inquiry to ClientSucess@maropost.com.
The SMS feature lets you create and schedule a text message to be sent to a list of cellphone numbers that you upload into the platform. It is expected that you have received express consent from the cellphone owners prior to uploading the file.
Recipients of your text messages in the United States and Canada will see the messages as coming from a short code (a 5 or 6-digit number). Recipients in other countries will see the messages as coming from a long code (a country-specific number that looks like a cellphone number). Maropost for Marketing uses a pool of short codes and long codes that are shared among all clients and the codes rotate with each message sent. If you want to have a short code dedicated to your account such that your messages are seen as always coming from the same 5 or 6-digit number, contact ClientSuccess@maropost.com for more details.
Mobile App Messaging
Mobile App Messaging allows you to send messages that display on smartphone screens of those who have installed your mobile app. To comply with requirements for listing in the app stores, your mobile app must implement a feature that users can select to receive or not receive notifications.
There is a charge to utilize Maropost for Marketing's mobile SDK to send messages to your mobile app owners. The cost is based on the number of monthly active users of your mobile apps. Contact your Customer Success manager for pricing details.
You have the flexibility to create and schedule broadcast mobile app messages within the application or to send triggered transactional messages via the API.
So go ahead and start making an instant positive impact to your Marketing with Maropost's Mobile Messaging capabilities.
