Content categories enable you to organize social media content into themed queues that streamlines your workflow by automatically selecting appropriate content for scheduled posts. This organizational system helps optimize operational efficiency by ensuring consistent posting across multiple social channels while maintaining brand consistency and reducing manual content management tasks.
You can leverage this content organization strategy to improves marketing effectiveness while automating routine social media posting tasks, allowing your team to focus on strategy and engagement rather than daily posting logistics.
A Content Category is a sequential queue of social media content. A piece of social media content can exist in more than one Content Category. The marketer sets the schedule for a content category, not for specific social content. Upon the prescheduled date and time of the post, whichever content is next in the queue will be posted to the designated social media accounts.
When all content in a Content Category has been posted, then the entire queue is automatically randomly re-shuffled. The shuffle will ensure that the first available content in the queue will not be the last posted content prior to the reshuffle.
