Maropost Identity password reset
To help maintain the security of Maropost Identity accounts, all users are required to set a new password and complete their account security setup.
From 6 October 2026, the first time you log in to Maropost, you will be required to reset your password and complete your account security setup before continuing.
How do I reset my password?
- Go to the normal Maropost login page.
- Select Forgot Password.
- Enter the email address you use to log in to Maropost.
- Check your email for the password reset message.
- Follow the link in the email and create a new password.
- Continue through the account security setup when prompted.
- Save your new recovery codes somewhere secure.
- Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using your authenticator app.
- Once complete, continue into Maropost as normal.
What happens after I reset my password?
As part of this account reset, your existing recovery codes and authenticator configuration will also be reset.
After setting your new password, Maropost Identity will guide you through setting up your account security again.
You will be asked to:
- Save a new set of recovery codes — keep these somewhere secure. Your previous recovery codes will no longer be valid.
- Set up your authenticator app — follow the on-screen instructions to configure your authenticator and complete MFA setup.
MFA will be required for all Maropost Identity users going forward, including users who had not previously configured an authenticator.
I already use MFA. Do I need to set it up again?
Yes.
As part of this reset, your existing authenticator configuration will also be reset. You will need to configure your authenticator app again after setting your new password.
Your previous recovery codes will also be replaced, so please make sure you securely save the new recovery codes provided during setup.
I haven't used MFA before. What do I need to do?
You will be guided through the MFA setup after resetting your password.
Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your authenticator app. Once configured, you will use the code generated by your authenticator app as an additional security step when accessing your Maropost Identity account.
I recently reset my password. Do I need to reset it again?
Yes.
Even if you recently changed or reset your password, you may still be required to create a new password as part of this account-wide reset.
Select Forgot Password from the login page and follow the instructions provided.
