Shipping Configuration in Maropost Commerce Cloud controls how shipping options and charges are applied during checkout. It is the area where merchants manage live carrier shipping rates, manual shipping rules, and destination zones used for order delivery.
When you open Shipping Configuration, you will be taken to a dedicated shipping page with three sections:
- ShipStation
- Custom Shipping
- Shipping Zones
ShipStation is the primary shipping source when connected. If ShipStation account is connected, Custom Shipping can be used as the fallback shipping method.
If you only want to use Custom Shipping, do not connect a ShipStation account.
To access:
- Go to Settings
- Select Shipping Configuration
Custom ShippingCustom Shipping allows you to create and manage shipping options directly inside Commerce Cloud. This section is used to manually control how shipping is charged without relying on external carrier rates.
It can be used when ShipStation is not connected, or maintained as a backup option depending on your shipping strategy.
If you want to use only Custom Shipping, do not connect a ShipStation account, as ShipStation takes priority whenever it is connected.
To manage custom shipping rules, select the Custom Shipping tab
Custom Shipping Page OverviewWhen you open the Custom Shipping tab, you will land on a dedicated Custom Shipping page. This page displays all custom shipping rules that have been created.

Add FilterThe Add Filter option allows you to create a filtered view of the Custom Shipping table.
Available filter options may include:

- Current page
