The Account Configuration section allows you to manage key account-level settings that affect how orders are generated and how product measurements are handled across your store. These settings help standardize order references and ensure consistency when managing inventory, shipping, and pricing.
To access
Go to Settings → Account Configuration.
Order Configuration
Order Configuration controls how order numbers are created and how return-related charges are applied. These settings are especially useful for maintaining a clear internal order structure.
Within this section, you can configure:
- Order Prefix
A short identifier added at the beginning of every order number (for example, NKMART). This helps you quickly recognize orders from a specific store or region.
- Order Sequence Number
Defines the starting point and format for order numbering. This ensures all orders follow a consistent sequence.
- Restocking Fee
A fixed fee applied when products are returned. This value is automatically considered during return processing.
Once updated, these settings apply to all new orders moving forward.
Unit System
The Unit System determines the default measurement units used when managing products. Setting this correctly helps avoid confusion when entering product weight and dimensions.
You can configure:
- Default Weight Unit
Choose the unit used for product weight, such as:- Kilogram (kg)
- Gram (g)
- Pound (lb)
- Ounce (Oz)
- Default Dimension Unit
Choose the unit used for product dimensions, including:- Centimetres (cm)
- Meters (m)
- Inches (in)
- Feet (ft)
These units become the default selection when adding or editing products, making product setup faster and more consistent.
Saving Your Changes
