New Feature: Introduction of our New Canvas in "Welcome" and "Abandoned Cart" Journey Templates
The Welcome and Abandoned Cart journey templates now come with a revamped journey builder canvas experience. Once you finish setting up your journey through the guided template steps, you'll land on a cleaner, more intuitive canvas workspace where you can visually review and customize the flow the system creates for you.
The newly redesigned canvas makes it easier to see how your triggers, delays, emails, and endpoints connect at a glance, so fine-tuning your journey after creation feels a lot more seamless.
Not just a new look, the new journey canvas also comes with a few additional capabilities to make building and reviewing journeys easier:
- Icon mode and Cards presentation: View the same journey flow in two different presentations depending on your zoom level. Zoom in to switch to "Cards" view and zoom out to "Icon" mode. "Icon" mode gives you a clean, high-level overview of a complex journey, while the "Cards" view surfaces the details of each element without requiring you to open them.
- Select and move multiple elements together: Hold "Command + Shift" (Mac) or "Ctrl + Windows key" (Windows) to enable multi-select mode, then draw a selection area around the elements you want. Everything within the area gets selected, thereby letting you move the whole group together in one go.
- All-sides connectivity: Elements on the new canvas can now connect from any side, not just left-to-right. This makes it easier to build complex, cleanly organized journeys, including vertical layouts, so you're no longer limited to a strictly horizontal flow.
The new canvas is now available for the Welcome and Abandoned Cart journey templates. All other journey templates and "create from scratch" options will still work in the old journey canvas, which remains available with all of its configurations and functions intact.
Other templates and custom options will receive the new canvas overhaul in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned for more updates!

Enhancement: "Unique" and "Total" Attributes in Campaign Activity Segment Category
Building segment rules based on Campaign Activity, like Opened Emails or Clicked Emails, just got more straightforward. When creating such a rule, a new Times dropdown lets you choose whether engagement is counted as Unique or Total.
- Unique counts each contact only once per campaign, no matter how many times they opened or clicked it.
- Total counts every individual open or click event, regardless of repetition.
From a marketing and analytics standpoint, this revision adds useful metrics to segmentation: Use "Unique" to measure reach and identify distinct engaged contacts (great for loyalty or VIP segments), and use "Total" to gauge overall engagement volume and spot high-intent contacts for lead-scoring models.
