Our segmentation rollout continues to evolve! As part of our commitment to delivering a more robust and versatile audience-building experience, we've shipped another wave of targeted improvements to the segmentation feature.

CONTACT ATTRIBUTES AND MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY UPDATES
We've made improvements in the “Contacts” and “Membership” segmentation package that gives marketers deeper control over how they define and organize their audiences.
Firstly, the Contact Attributes category now supports a dedicated Phone Number field, making it possible to capture and segment contacts based on their phone numbers. This enhancement ensures that users with phone-based identifiers are no longer overlooked when constructing precise audience segments, a critical step toward truly omnichannel audience management.
Secondly, we've extended the Membership category with a new “List rule” scoped specifically to SMS subscription history. You can now group contacts based on their SMS opt-in and subscription behavior, enabling more granular segmentation that reflects where contacts stand in their SMS engagement journey.
Together, these updates lay the groundwork for richer, data-driven segmentation strategies that align with the full scope of your campaign requirements.
