Multi-Supplier Management – Supplier SKU2 Enhancements
We've enhanced Multi-Supplier Management to improve how supplier-specific purchasing information is used throughout the purchasing workflow.
Where supplier-specific SKU2 values have been configured, Retail Express now automatically uses those values, together with the supplier's configured buy price, throughout purchasing and receiving. This ensures Purchase Orders always reflect the details configured for the selected supplier.
Supplier-specific SKU2 values are now supported across:
- Purchase Order entry
- Purchase Order PDFs
- Purchase Order exports
- Stock Receiving
If a supplier-specific SKU2 has not been configured, Retail Express will continue using the product's default SKU2.
Price Inheritance - Coming Soon
In a later release, we're planning to introduce Price Inheritance when consolidating purchase orders from alternative suppliers. This enhancement will ensure the purchase price from the original PO is preserved, rather than reverting to the default supplier's buy price. Watch for this update in an upcoming release.

We're introducing Shopify Integrated Returns & Cancellations, a major new capability that delivers a more seamless returns experience between Retail Express and Shopify.
This feature is designed to improve how returns and cancellations are managed across both platforms, helping merchants maintain accurate order information while streamlining the refund process for Shopify orders.

General Enhancements & Resolutions
Inventory Valuation Report – PLU Filter Handling
Resolved an issue where filtering the Inventory Valuation Report using a PLU with no matching products could result in an unexpected error.
Mass Upload & Download – Increased Decimal Precision
Mass Upload and Download templates now support up to four decimal places for the following product dimension fields:
- Length
- Depth
- Breadth
- Shipping Cubic
Previously, these fields were limited to two decimal places during upload and download. This improvement helps preserve more accurate product dimension data across purchasing, freight calculations, and inventory management.
Purchase Order Receipt Detail Report – Brand Filter
Resolved an issue where applying the Brand filter could cause the Purchase Order Receipt Detail Report to time out.
Product Search & Management – GST-Free GP Calculations
Corrected an issue where Gross Profit (GP) and GP% values were calculated incorrectly for GST-free products, improving the accuracy of product profitability reporting.
Fulfilment Report – Serial Number Validation
Resolved an issue where serial number prompts could appear for products that did not require serial number tracking when other items within the same order required serial number validation.
Serial number prompts are now displayed only for products that require them, reducing unnecessary interruptions during fulfilment.
Item Sales Report – Deleted Product Types
Resolved an issue where products assigned to deleted Product Types did not appear in the Item Sales Report.
Products linked to deleted Product Types now continue to appear in the report, with the Product Type displayed as Deleted. Deleted Product Types are also available as a report filter.
Sales Performance Summary Report – Average Value Calculations
Resolved an issue where Average Sold Price Inc displayed incorrect values when the report was grouped by Style or Manufacturer SKU.
Inventory Movement Logs API – Pagination Count
Corrected an issue where the Inventory Movement Logs API could return an incorrect total_records value when using paginated responses.
POS Cash Up PDF – Reporting Period
Resolved an issue where the From Date was not displayed on generated Cash Up PDF reports. Cash Up PDFs now correctly display the reporting period for improved reporting and audit visibility.
POS – Faulty Returns
Resolved an issue where users could select a different outlet when processing returns containing faulty quantities.
Faulty returns are now restricted to the original outlet, ensuring inventory movements remain accurate throughout the returns process.
End of Month Inventory Valuation – Export Accuracy
Resolved an issue where exported Inventory Valuation reports displayed Tran In values under the Tran Out column.
Dashboard – Outlet Filters
Resolved an issue where selected outlet filters were not consistently applied across Dashboard widgets. Dashboard results now correctly reflect the selected outlet filters, providing more accurate operational reporting.
