The InboxAware seed list is the same for every account owner. Included in your seed list is a group of email addresses that are unique to your account (also called reference seeds). If you own more than one account, each seed list for each account will contain its own reference seeds.
Important: You must ensure that every campaign you send to the InboxAware seed list also includes these reference seeds.
When you send campaigns to your seed list, InboxAware matches the email campaigns sent to your reference seeds (that all have the seeds.inbox-aware.com domain) with those sent to the other email accounts of the seed list. If you don't include the reference seeds when sending to the seed list, InboxAware can't distinguish your campaigns from those sent by all the other marketers to the same set of email accounts.
Please Note: The seed list doesn't belong to any specific individuals therefore there are no privacy concerns when InboxAware reads the emails in those accounts when determining inbox placement.
The email accounts of the seed list are created in the most popular mailbox providers worldwide. These mailbox providers include Gmail, MS Outlook, Yahoo!, AOL, and others. Country-specific mailbox providers, such as Web.de, are also included. Email accounts created in Office365 and Google Workspace (formerly Gsuite) are also included for the benefit of marketers who primarily send their promotional emails to businesses.
InboxAware continues to expand the mailbox providers included in its seed list. It’s best practice to always upload the latest version of the seed list to your ESP. InboxAware will automatically alert you if you’re not sending your campaigns to the latest version of the seed list.
