I would like to setup the wholesale registration form so that it is Automatically appoved [...]

I would like it so my sales team can sign up a wholesale customer and then immediately create and send a pay-later invoice for that customer.

I don't however want any ole' customer using the website to be able to access the form and sign up, thereby viewing wholesale prices as a retail customer...

I understand that is what the approvals process is to prevent, however it is a cumbersome step for salespeople trying to make the "sign up and start today" quick and easy for our wholesale group.

You won't be able to do this with the public registration form on your website but there might be other options.

What kind of POS device are you using? If it's practical to have the control panel on it, could your staff just create a new customer directly in there? It's pretty quick, they can enter all the customer's details, and they can immediately set them to the correct customer group.

We have Ipad Mini's as POS hardware. I have found the Cpanel is difficult to navigate in ipad mini with slow loading... or is there an app thats more functional than the web browser version? Also,we are a franchised business and some franchisees have limited tech familiarity, so im hesitant to provide free reign in Cpanel. We use Jotform card forms for many processes because it prevents input errors and mistakes being made- if the answer isnt supplied or supplied in incorrect format you cannot continue.. is there a way we can create something so that filling out the jotform would create an active and approved wholesale customer to start sales order for?

While I know that some integration is possible im not sure of the scope or what it would be like as a solution... Additionally it feels rather like re -inventing the wheel to create and integrate a form for wholesale customers when the same thing already exists within the system. would you agree? I could be waay off base. P.s. I forgot to say- Thanks for your response and help!

I love Jotform and you can do some seriously clever things with it. It should be possible to get a solution that works for you.

Do you need the new wholesale customers created immediately? I imagine so, if this is happening at point of sale? That makes it a little trickier.

If you don't need it instant, try Zapier. You can connect Jotform to Maropost and create the new customer from your form submission. The Zapier website says it only polls every 15min, but Jotform say it's instant. It's worth giving it a go!

To get a true instant customer creation, I can't think of a way to do it without a developer. It's a pretty simple job though and I expect the cost would be worthwhile. I'd recommend Scott from Otus Technology, scott@otustechnologies.com.au . Scott and I have previously worked together with an integration platform which would be perfect for you.
