Is anyone else experiencing spam registrations daily?

By 'signing up' what do they achieve? Is it my 'welcome email' they're hoping to get so they can then spam me but if they're using some poor random person's email addy, then they won't get the welcome email.

So my question is, how can I stop them or make it more difficult for these bots to register?

I've looked into reCAPTCHA but it's all gobbly gook to me! WAY over my head! Is this something Neto/Maropost is working on? I did look for other posts first and 1 post suggested it was in the works ....

Any help will be gratefully appreciated! Thankyou ?

Yes, we get spam registrations daily. I don't know who benefits apart from the email marketing companies because before you know it you have exceeded your 'free daily email limit' when you come to send an email marketing campaign.

Has anyone been able to fox this issue? I appear to be getting fake signups daily for about the last 2 months.

I just go through the registrations once a week and delete the "spammy ones". Sometimes it may be 50 odd emails each time. PITA! I Once you have cleaned up your customer list I sort bt Date registered, and Descending.

We get about 50 of these a day. It's tiresome weeding it out especially if it's been busy and I haven't done it for a week or so. Maropost need to address this issue and create some filtering, or having are "I am Human" type button to reduce this trash.
