how can you do a custom export where the filter will actually pick up blank cells

i need a custom export run weekly that exports all products that have a 'blank' price/customer level. the filters only seem to work if there is a value in the field, but the whole purpose of what i'm trying to achieve it to only export the SKU's with that particular blank field.

This can't be done with the built-in filters but it's possible to run template code inside exports which lets you do much more advanced things.

 

Set your file header to:

"SKU"

 

And "FILE BODY - body" to:

[%if [@price_1@] eq '' %]"[@SKU@]"[%url_decode%]%0D%0A[%/url_decode%][%/if%]

 

Replace [@price_1@] with the customer level you want to check. You can set any other filters you need but don't set any for the prices.

 

This code will check if the price is blank, and only write out the line (containing the SKU) if this is the case. The url_decode section is just a hack to get a new line (since B@SE code has a tendency to strip these out).
