Does neto allow for some products to be marked a demo products and not for sale

We have some products that we need to manage for demos, where we will lend them out to prospective customers to trial, and then they will come back, but we don't intend to sell them. Is there an eady way to manage this in Neto? or indeen any way to manage it in Neto?

Unfortunately this is a huge design flaw in Neto they've made no effort to fix over the years.

 

Your "store quantity" (what is available to sell) is the sum of stock in all warehouses, minus what is committed on orders. So you can't just use a "demo stock" warehouse to exclude some stock from your web store.

 

The situation is worse for merchants like us with multiple shopfronts but a single warehouse fulfilling online orders. When the main warehouse runs out of stock, the product is still available online and Neto starts selling stock in our outlets - whether we want it to or not.

 

It is possible to modify the logic of the web store templates to at least hide the "add to cart" button when your primary warehouse goes out of stock but this is a very complex change and still doesn't work perfectly.
