I created an import file (by exporting excisitng records that had the correct SKU's that I wanted to populate across all other products.

 

My import columns are

SKU* | Cross-Sell Products01 | Cross-Sell Products02 | Cross-Sell Products03 | Cross-Sell Products04

 

No errors generated in import process log. Any suggestions?

Looks like the import for this field works differently to the export. You want all your cross-sell SKUs in one field, comma separated:

 

SKU*,Cross-Sell

MYPRODUCT,"SKUA,SKUB,SKUC"
