Pin number for login to POS is quite redundant. Needs to have a pin pad on the screen before every sale, so staff need to login with their pin every sale/rma, etc.
When a staff member puts their pin in the pin pad before a sale, the system can add them as the sales person to the order each time.
Pin number must be entered to do any sale, RMA, etc, basically anything in POS. As soon as a transaction is completed, the pin pad comes up again, ready for the next sale.
This can be an essential tool for us for a few reasons:
- If any mistakes are made (wrong product sold, incorrect price used, etc), we can work out which staff member made the sale
- For companies that offer staff commissions, it guarantees the correct sales member is allocated to the sale, so commissions can be calculated properly
- If eft terminals are not linked to Neto, and the wrong price is entered, again, you can work out who the sales member was, so you can go through it with them
- Should make the team take more care when entering transactions into POS as it is logged to them
There are plenty of other reasons for this addition, but those are a few reasons for needing it.
Hopefully it is something that can be added to the POS system.
Many thanks
