eBay's 'Postage Rate Tables' only calculate using Deadweight. Therefore to calculate accurate shipping costs we would need Neto to send a "Weight" value that has already considered Deadweight vs Cubic Weight and send the larger of the 2 weight values.
We already have a 'Custom Product Field' that has been calculated to take the larger of either Deadweight or Cubic Weight.
Therefore, we simply need to be able to Map this 'Custom Product Field' to be Weight value that Neto sends to eBay.
However, that is currently not possible in Neto. There is only an option to select "Use Item's Shipping Weight" or enter a weight manually in the Listing Template.
Simple solution for Neto, is to allow us to choose a field to be used as the Weight value that is sent to eBay.
- I note that Neto allows 2 options for selecting which Dimension fields are sent to eBay
- I note that under 'Field Mapping' section we can Map any 'Custom Product Field' to other eBay fields.
Therefore, I believe it should be possible for Neto developers to relatively easily make this change.

The only alternative, would be to create Listing Templates for EVERY kilogram and manually enter a Weight value.
i.e. if item is 4kg Deadweight and 10kg Cubic Weight, then we'd assign the SKU with a Listing Template where we have manually entered 10kg as the Weight value.
