As a Marketer who uses 3rd party systems for Customer Data Storage and analysis, as well as other tools for Marketing Activities (IE SMS tools like Attentive), without direct integrations with these tools built by either Maropost or the 3rd party, it would be great to use existing Data Journey too, and the FTP Upload step, to be able to transwer data to those 3rd party tools without having to build API solutions
As an example, with 3rd party SMS tool Attentive, they can import files into their system via an SFTP connection, but the file format must be a CSV, and needs to be in this format: {clientdomain}_subscriber_segment_{date}_{file_number}.csv
https://docs.attentive.com/pages/developer-guides/segmentation/subscriber-segment-upload/
Problems with MMC Data Journeys today:
-File Type imported to the FTP folder via the FTP Upload action is a ZIP file with a CSV within that ZIP, but Attentive, and many other platforms DON'T support zip file import
-File Name control is there somewhat now with the FTP Upload step since the Custom Name option was added, but the Date/Timestamp option doesn't work when the Custom Name option is used
I'd like to be able to simply export a CSV file, and choose the name more precisely to align with the required format at my 3rd party tool
