We have many customers requesting quotes for items we cannot contractually display the price for. The quote system on cPanel works great, but the process for the customer to Accept the quote and checkout is long and cumbersome. This process has the potential to generate a considerable amount of revenue. I have asked if this can be a custom partner job, but apparently, it can't. We can redesign the look of the quote, but the payment part will remain the same.
Once we send a customer a quote, they have to accept and approve it four times before they get to a basic payment system that only accepts card payment. If the process of accepting a quote were cut down to even 1 or 2 steps, this would help. We have gathered customer feedback on this process. It's a great idea, but the execution is poor and the customer experience is worse.
