Fields for tracking batches/lots and used by dates

1. We need to know which customers buy from which batch, in case of product recall or other less serious product issues. 2. We need to manage older inventory so we're not selling customers products close to or past their used by date 3. We would like to take advantage of the advanced inventory management features of a program like Unleashed or Cin7, while continuing to process orders in Neto (which is far more user friendly and integrated with eParcel). Tosin has advised that including the batch information on products in Unleashed means the orders have to be processed in Unleashed (where products from a specific batch are allocated). Unleashed is not a user friendly program (ie it is really unsuitable for the people who answer the phone or fulfill orders at the warehouse) and it's also not integrated with shippers. Right now we're managing inventory in a combination of Neto, Xero and Excel with manual stock takes (which cost a lot of money). I have almost no traceability of which customers get which products, or how old the products were that they received. I'm also unable to use the forecasting and reporting that are in programs like Unleashed. I'm not in a position to expand my product range/business because of these issues. The ability to track batches and used by dates would be very desirable for businesses dealing in food or medical.
