Facebook catalogue feed not showing virtual items

I've got our Facebook catalogue feed setup and it's been running for ages, however since we've integrated more drop shippers the items from them don't appear on the feed.

One of the drop shippers uses a Y/N feed which we import weekly and convert stock available to 'virtual'. Unfortunately, the FB feed doesn't see the virtual items as 'in stock' so doesn't add them to the catalogue. Anyone else been able to get this working properly?

Do you have any filters on the stock levels in your export template? Could be preventing them being added to the feed if it's looking for an actual stock value.

If the 'qty in stock' filter is set to zero, it still shows these items as out of stock and just floods the FB site.

Is there a way to export the data file with virtual y/n beins also assigned to in stock y/n?

Ok, so looking at the way the feed is generated, I need the field 'availability' to be an 'or' statement.

So, if stock qty y or virtual y, availability Y, else n.

Gotta try and figure out the formatting on that for the export template.

"[%if [@instock@] > 0 or [@allow_oversell@] eq y %] y [%else%] n [%/if%]"

The [@instock@] tag is actually a boolean (y/n) as to whether there is stock. and you have some minor formatting errors.

Try this:

"[%if [@instock@] eq 'y' or [@allow_oversell@] eq 'y' %] y [%else%] n [%/if%]"
