When developing a theme for an existing webstore, the cache needs to be put into development mode for the entire site to see updates in a timely manner. This causes significant slowdowns on the live site. The ability to disable caching only for a specific theme, rather than the entire webstore, would allow for a significantly improved development workflow without impacting on the experience of users on the webstore (potentially losing my client money in the process).
