We have a notify me email option on our website which is a great feature. What happens is when a product is out of stock, there is a notify me option that allows the customer to enter their email address to be notified when the product comes into stock.
We have found we come into a problem when an order holding stock is canceled and releases for example 1 of an item. What is happening is if there is 15 people who have a notify me in for this product, the system generates an email for that 1 product, to 15 people.
People are missing out and are very disappointed.
What we would like to implement is a min qty before the email triggers, for example, if the product has 5 or more in stock, it will trigger the email, but if there is only 3, it wont.
This will mean a lot less upset customers, and a lot less phone calls and emails of people saying they got an email, but its a sold out already.
