Currently the POS only works through the printer making the printer open the cashdraw upon printing a receipt. There are a few issues in doing it in this way.
- The cashdraw opens on all transaction even if you are taking for example an eftpos transaction
- If you have multiple Registers with there dedicated cashdraw attached and have a shared printer, it will open all the cashdraws attached to that single printer.
- if you are emailing the invoice to the client it will neglect the cashdraw and the cashdraw will not open.
I believe NETO needs to configure the Cashdrawers as a standalone and not connect it to the printer.
