I can see that there is an exportable column on the product table for 'date added'. This field is not available as a search filter, nor as a display column, when viewing products in Neto.
I think a lot of new features could be implemented around this field - but rather than request too many and never see the change, I will list them in priority order, so that if only 1 or 2 could be implemented, the first ones on the list would deliver immediate benefits.
1) Add the field "Date Added" to the "Sort By" dropdown list in the filters on the product screen.
Benefit: I could list products by date added, descending. This will let me see the most recently added products at the top of the list. We have a team of product managers that is constantly creating new products in Neto. Sometimes they begin work which has to be completed by another person. This functionality would allow anyone on team to quickly access the most recently created products. Without it we need to rely on external methods to verify which SKUs are being created and worked on.
2) Display the Date Added value in the list of results on the product screen.
Benefit: This would allow us to visually confirm the date added, directly in the search results. Not as important as item 1, above, but still useful to know you really are looking at just the products recently worked on (ie. if you are finishing off product prep that someone else has started - it's easy to see the first batch in the list were all created on the same date - for example, yesterday - but after that, the next items on the list were created a week ago, and therefore I've identified the items in the batch from yesterday that I need to complete).
3) Add search criteria for "date added before X" and "date added after X".
This would be useful to quickly identify products created, say, a week ago, or two weeks ago, or last month. This is useful, for example, if you need to access a batch that was created - such as when a step was missed in preparing the products and there is no other common thread to ID all the affected products, other than you can identify they were all created/imported on a given date, or during a given week, etc.
I've lost count of how many times I wish I could search for products on date added, or at least list them by date added, descending.
