At this point of time any credit that appears on a customer account has to be applied to the purchase by that customer. A check box for credit available needs to be ticked on checking out to have the credit applied to the current purchase. Majority of customers just miss this step and never apply credit available and then come back and ask where their credit is. This create an unnecessary confusion, work load and frustration.
A credit if available needs to be applied by default, automatically to the current purchase as the majority of modern eCommerce platform have it set.
