We would like to know if we don't have enough stock for the customers to order.
if the customers want to be notified when something is back in stock, I am informed they can check a box. Why can't we be notified of these checkboxes as well?
Also we have prepaid customers and customers who can buy on account. If we have 50 units in stock and the customer would like to have purchased 100 but we couldn't supply, we would like to know this and receive a back order for this product for this customer. We don't want the customer to be charged for payment as we may not have the stock available for them for a month.
But we may be missing out on heaps of sales and we would prefer not to.
