Our first trial of this tool for wholesale sales is allowing out of stock items to be purchased, paid for and even shown as dispatched - they need to go to backorder
We have problems with this all the time because the POS operators can't see the stock levels on the order screen - they have to be looked up in a separate workflow which is impractical when the retail shop is busy. Would be great if stock levels could be shown on the POS orderlines. At the very least there should be a warning to the operator that an item is out of stock when they process it through POS

While we haven’t fully implemented the feature to automatically move out-of-stock items to backorder, the primary goal of providing stock visibility and issuing insufficient stock warnings has been achieved. We're now in the process of collecting feedback and will explore enhancements like automated backorders. Let us know your thoughts!
