Customers DO order and DO want to pickup in store.
I can't believe this isn't already part of NETO.
On my NETO store they put in their address and their suburb and blah blah blah etc... All we need is a check mark or slider from delivery to pickup so they can just fill in who they are and pay for it without the story of their life.
My customers are phoning the store to place pickup orders because the checkout is too demanding of irrelevant details.
Yes they actually say DEMANDING! I say I can't do anything about it - so I look like I'm a dick.
Can anyone think of a workaround? I thought of posting a generic login which has the shop address and so on - but then people can see each others orders.
It's all part of the [*required] field issue - All the defaults for customer information need to be able to be shut off if a business doesn't need them - does a baker or a corner shop need all the details?
When staff have a customer pickup on the phone they try to enter the least details but get 3 or 4 prompts that something isn't complete. We are retailers, not CIA - we don't need all their details and my staff don't need to have to spend their time entering it all.
Amazon will have delivered by the time we fill in a form - we are trying to be efficient - it's the 21st century.
