With the holiday season approaching fast, your contacts are going to be bombarded with emails of all kinds. While you’re working hard to stand out and be read, it’s also the perfect time to review the basics and ensure that you are following email etiquette (especially the guidelines) and adhering to your subscribers’ wishes.
Keeping that in mind, we have been prioritizing the fixes and improvements around the 1-Click Unsubscribe functionality. To learn about all the Unsubscribe options that we offer, see Understanding Email Campaign Unsubscribe Options.
What Was Fixed?
A few accounts were experiencing an issue where the 1-Click Unsubscribe tag was not appearing on the Footer. We have fixed the issue, and the tag is working across all accounts as expected.
Please Note if you have an existing Footer that doesn’t show the 1-Click Unsubscribe tag, you’ll need to recreate the Footer.
Upcoming Enhancement
In the coming weeks, we are introducing an enhancement to the 1-Click Unsubscribe feature that will redefine how it works with Branded Campaigns.
With the new implementation in effect, the contacts who click the 1-Click Unsubscribe link in a branded campaign will be added to the Brand’s Do Not Email List (and not the general Do Not List). This will ensure that a contact is able to permanently unsubscribe from emails sent from a particular brand while still receiving non-branded emails or those from other brands in your account.
