The Out Of Stock Notifications feature that customers can sign up for (when an item is out of stock) is good but it doesn't email the customer when an item goes on pre-order.
So for example if someone signs up to be notified when an item is back in stock, and then when the item ships from our supplier and we place the item on pre-order (saying "due in 2 weeks"), the customer is not sent an email until the stock actually arrives.
It would be really good if they could get an email when it actually goes on pre-order instead (ie. have the customer email triggered by pre-order stock too). Cheers, Graeme
