Hi, I found that our website is missing a sitemap (which it supposed be there by default !!). I tried adding on using the tutorial in Tweak Documents. A new file is added under cms/sitemap.template.html however the site map is not accessible at https://www.chainsawspares.com.au/sitemap.xml
In the tutorial (https://developers.maropost.com/documentation/neto-designer-documentation/tweak-documents/content-page/sitemap-page/) the last step where it says how to 'Add Information Page' I get 404.
Can you please help me out on this issue?
Adil
Hi,
Actually, you don't need to create a sitemap seperately. When you launch the neto store, the site map will be generated automatically.
You can download the sitemap file using the URL that they provide. To check the Sitemap URL you can go to. Settings and Tools -> All Settings and Tools, then type Sitemap. You can see an option called Google XML Sitemap.
Or you can simply you can download the Sitemap file from this URL
https://www.chainsawspares.com.au/sitemap_index.xml.gz
Thanks
The terminology might be confusing here. A sitemap can mean two different things:
Hi, I wanted to create sitemap that Google can access so it can index the website correctly. Our SEO expert has mentioned that the sitemap is missing.
I believe this default sitemap is auto updated.
Anyways, thanks for your help. It was really useful.
Best,
