The Control Panel field is narrower & placement \ alignment is difficult & time consuming. Zoom levels are at 100% on both... I must be missing something here
You're probably approaching your page design the wrong way. Remember that your site has to look good at a huge range of sizes, all the way from a desktop monitor to a phone or tablet. If you are relying on aligning different elements in the description field then it's almost certainly going to break on mobile. It's best to just stick with simple heading & body text.
